Many of us know about Frankenstein, but few know the actual story of Frankenstein.

The basic overview of the story was that, Victor Frankenstein, who was a scientist,  wanted to create life itself. So he stitched together parts from dead bodies of criminals executed at the gallows and brought his creation to life during an electrical storm. The monster scares Frankenstein and it begins to kill without reason or cause. Frankenstein chases the monster to the Arctic and dies pursuing the creature. Then the monster kills himself. Yea, sorry it’s pretty gruesome. Happy Halloween! On that note, let’s make a cute version of Frankenstein instead around a juice box for kids to enjoy at a Halloween Party!

Step 1

Gather together all your supplies, you should have the items listed and pictured below:

  • 1 Hi-C juice box
  •  1 pair of scissors
  • 1 ruler
  • 1 pencil
  • 1 felt tipped pen
  • 1 fine tipped marker
  • 1 glue gun
  • 4 pony beads
  • 2 googly eyes
  • 1 green piece of construction paper (4″ x 8″)
  • 1 black piece of construction paper (2″ x 1.5″)

Step 2

Cut your green construction paper to measure 4″ wide and 8″ long. Then mark where you’re going to fold at the 1″, 3″, 4.5″, and 6.5″ with your ruler and pen/pencil.

Step 3

Cut your black construction paper into a 2″ x 1.5″ rectangle and cut out jagged triangles. This will make Frankie’s hair.

Step 4

Glue or tape the hair onto the top of one of the 2″ folds.

Step 5

Grab your googly eyes and glue/tape them a little lower than the middle of the paper.

Step 6

Draw a scar above the googly eyes using your felt tipped pen. You can also choose to draw it all the way across his forehead.

Step 7

Using your marker, draw a mouth with some jagged teeth. You can make him smiling instead for younger kids.

Step 8

Take the straw off of your Hi-C juice box.

Step 9

Wrap your construction paper around your juice box and glue or tape down the 2″ folds. Leave the sides un-glued because that is where you are going to put in the straw later on.

Step 10

Using your hot glue, glue two pony beads together and wait for it to dry.

Step 11

Then glue them to the side of Frankie’s face.

Step 12

Take your straw and slip it into the un-glued side and your juice box is ready to be served at the Halloween party!
